The desk is unfortunately not removable from the set, due to it's size and weight, but can be repositioned within the set if needed.

Yes! The desk chair and guest seating can be removed from the set to the designated area if not needed. 

The wood bookshelf is a fixed item in the set, but the two black shelves behind the desk can be removed from the set to the designated area if not needed. 

Crews CAN change out wall and tabletop decor, reconfigure furniture and props within the set itself (with the exception of wood book shelf which is fixed), remove chairs and black shelves to the designated area. Crews CANNOT remove desk (though can be reconfigured within set) or move wooden book shelf as that is fixed in set.
