From day one, our goal has been to remove the obstacles that too often stand between creators and the stories they want to tell, providing accessible production solutions without compromising quality or creativity.
As actors, filmmakers, and storytellers ourselves, we've experienced firsthand the challenges of working within tight budgets, limited resources, and an increasingly competitive industry. That perspective drives everything we do. We understand the realities of independent production because we've lived them, and we've built our company around making the creative process smoother, more affordable, and more achievable for fellow artists.

Nick Somers

As an actor and filmmaker, Nick experienced firsthand the challenges independent creators face when searching for affordable and production ready locations. Determined to create a better path, he combined his entrepreneurial spirit with a background in construction to build a studio designed for filmmakers of all sizes—a place where great stories could be told without the barriers and costs often associated with traditional film studios and big budget productions. What began as a solution for his own projects quickly became a creative home for countless others. Some say the studio never sleeps because Nick doesn't either.
Venus Swinson

Every great production relies on someone working behind the scenes to keep everything moving and for our studio, that person is Venus. From client communications and bookings to scheduling, contracts, and billing, she orchestrates the countless details that turn creative vision into reality. Her background in Human Resources and project management allows her to seamlessly manage the moving parts behind every successful production. She is the heartbeat of the studio, ensuring each day runs as smoothly as the final cut. When the cameras stop rolling, Venus treasures time spent with family and the people who matter most.
Christian Keib
In Memoriam (1971 - 2009)
Nick and Christian both arrived in Los Angeles in 2001, crossing paths on set as working actors. What began as a friendship grew into a creative partnership built on a shared passion for storytelling, filmmaking, and the dream of building something meaningful together. Over the years, Christian became not only a trusted friend, but a constant source of inspiration, encouragement, and vision. In 2009, after a lifelong battle with cancer, Christian passed away at the age of 38. Though he is no longer with us, his passion for the craft, unwavering optimism, and adventurous spirit remain woven into the foundation of Nvisionate Studios.
